+### Power Production
+The Solar Engine produces power when exposed to direct sunlight. There cannot be any blocks between the Solar Engine and the sky (including [glass](https://minecraft.wiki/w/Glass)) or power will not be produced.
+
+In the early morning and evening only 10 Power Units are produced per second. At high noon 20 Power Units are produced per second. During the night no power is produced.
+
