Salt is an ingredient in the [[FARMING|FARMING]] Add-On, released in the Italian Update. It is created by evaporating water in a Cooking Pot and is used in a variety of recipes.

## **Functionality**
Salt restores 0.5 hunger points and provides 0.3 saturation when eaten.

Salt is used in the following recipes:

## **Interaction**
Salt is made using a [[Cooking Pot|Cooking Pot]]. Players must add water to an empty Cooking Pot before waiting for the salt to finish processing. Once ready, the pot can be interacted with to collect the Salt.

## **Obtaining**
Salt can be obtained by adding either 1 × [Water Bottle](https://minecraft.wiki/w/Water_Bottle) or 1 × [Water Bucket](https://minecraft.wiki/w/Water_Bucket) into an empty Cooking Pot. Once the salt has finished processing, players can interact with the Cooking Pot to collect the Salt.
