 The **Water Pump** is a utility block in [[Gardening|Gardening]]. It allows players to manually retrieve water for use with [buckets](https://minecraft.wiki/w/Bucket), [bottles](https://minecraft.wiki/w/Glass_Bottle), and [[Watering Can (Gardening)|watering cans]]. ## Functionality - Place a [bucket](https://minecraft.wiki/w/Bucket), [glass bottle](https://minecraft.wiki/w/Glass_Bottle), or [[Watering Can (Gardening)|watering can]] under the Water Pump by right clicking while holding the item. - Activate the Water Pump by right clicking multiple times to fill the item with water. - Once filled, retrieve the item by sneaking and right clicking with an empty hand. - Provides an immersive, hands-on alternative to directly collecting water from a source block. ## Obtaining ### Crafting The Water Pump is crafted using two [iron ingots](https://minecraft.wiki/w/Iron_Ingot), one [water bucket](https://minecraft.wiki/w/Water_Bucket), and one [lever](https://minecraft.wiki/w/Lever).
