Train signals can be used to force an approaching engine to stop until the signal switches to go. The signal can only be toggled by a signal box placed below itself. The train signal only effects the railways on signal arm side of the block.

Crafting
To craft Tran Signals place a stick on the top left, with a fence in both the top middle box and center. Afterwards, get your Redstone Lamp and place it in the far right top corner and a Redstone Dust just below it.
