Crows want to eat your crops, but instead of expelling them yourself all day long, you can build a scarecrow to protect your crops. Place a fence on the bottom, then a hay block above, after adding two fences as arms to the sides of the hay block. Finally, place a carved pumpkin on top, and your scarecrow will be done!
Range
A Scarecrow will scare all crows within an 8 block radius.
Building
A Scarecrow can be built using 3 fences of any kind, 1 hay bale and 1 carved pumpkin. The carved pumpkin has to be the last block placed and the blocks have to be arranged like this:
