In the Archaeology Add-On, Unidentified Bones are cleaned bone fragments that have been washed free of dirt but have not yet been studied. They represent the intermediate stage between raw finds and identified, usable bones.
Obtaining
Unidentified Bones are obtained by placing bones from a Pile of Bones into a Washing Station. After washing, the bones lose their dirt and debris, becoming ready for identification.
Usage
Unidentified Bones must be processed further before they can be used for skeleton assembly:
- Identification Table – reveals the exact type of bone (such as a Zombie Arm Bone, Wolf Skull Bone, or Ravager Ribs Bone).
- Once identified, the bones can then be used at an Assembly Table to reconstruct complete skeletons.
