Construction Lamps are temporary lighting blocks introduced in the Urban Update. Drilling engines automatically place them to illuminate newly carved tunnels, ensuring visibility as the bore advances.
Functionality
The lamp produces a light level of twelve and is intended only as temporary lighting. It breaks instantly, does not drop itself, and disappears cleanly once replaced or removed.
Interaction
Players can break Construction Lamps instantly or replace them by interacting while holding another block. Drilling engines deploy them automatically whenever new tunnel space needs lighting.
Obtaining
Construction Lamps are created automatically by a Drilling Engine, but can be crafted by combining two iron nuggets and two torches. Crafts four Construction Lamps.
