The Mining Skill is one of the skills in the RPG Skills Add-On. This skill can be levelled by breaking certain blocks. Different blocks give you a different amount of skill exp based on their rarity. You can access it's menu through the Add-On Book or by double right clicking with a pickaxe while sneaking.

When breaking ores, there is a certain chance that an additional item drops. This rate increases as you level up!

Sneak twice while holding a pickaxe or double right click, to enable your mining ability.
