Bones in the Archaeology Add-On are the primary components used for reconstructing skeletons. They are uncovered during excavation and processed through various utility blocks before being assembled into full skeletons for display. Bones form the core progression system of the add-on, linking excavation to skeleton reconstruction.
Obtaining
Bones go through several stages before becoming usable parts:
- Piles of Bones – Excavated with the Chisel or Brush.
- Unidentified Bones – Obtained by washing Piles of Bones in the Washing Station.
- Identified Bones – Discovered at the Identification Table, revealing the mob-specific bone type (e.g., Zombie Arm Bone, Skeleton Ribcage Bone).
- Assembled Parts – Crafted together at the Assembly Table to form larger skeletal pieces.
Skeletons
Bones ultimately contribute to the creation of Skeletons, which are the final showcase of the Archaeology Add-On’s progression. Each skeleton requires a full set of identified bones, assembled into body parts at the Assembly Table.
