The Mole is a passive mob introduced by the Gardening Add-On. Moles tunnel underground and occasionally surface, altering the terrain as they move.
Behavior
- Moles naturally spawn in various biomes across the world.
- They spend most of their time digging underground, occasionally surfacing above ground.
- When a Mole unburies, it will convert the block it dug through into coarse dirt, but only if the
mobGriefinggamerule is enabled.
- There is a 33% chance that a Mole will drop Mysterious Seeds when surfacing.
Interaction
- Players may encounter Moles while exploring, often seeing them briefly when they rise from underground.
- They cannot be tamed or bred and serve primarily as an ambient and resource-providing mob.
Drops
- Mysterious Seeds (33% chance upon surfacing).
