The Subway Locomotive is an underground-focused engine introduced in the Urban Update. Inspired by major metro systems, it excels in tunnel networks and compact rail layouts.
Functionality
The engine uses redstone as its fuel source and can haul up to eight cars. It has a weight of 'one' and can carry two additional players or villagers along with the driver, making it ideal for rapid underground transport.
Interaction
Players can access the throttle menu by interacting while riding or by crouching and interacting on foot. The locomotive supports dye colours, coupling, horn activation by jumping, and automatic refuelling whenever a Redstone Tender is directly behind it.
Obtaining
Place iron ingots across the entire top row. Put oak stairs in the middle left of the second row, the chain in the center, and the cab frame on the right. Then place the trucks on the bottom left and bottom right with the redstone fuel cell in the bottom middle. Crafts one Subway Engine.
