The container is a solid storage unit in the BOATS Add On. It is built to hold large amounts of items and can function both on its own and as part of vessels such as the freighter. It is also compatible with the Cargo Crane and can interact with the Box Car from the TRAINS Add On, allowing full item transfer between boats and trains.
Functionality
The container holds solid goods and works as both a block based storage unit and an entity storage unit when used with vessels. When placed on its own, it acts like a large chest for storing items. When installed on a freighter, it becomes the ship’s primary cargo hold. It supports item movement through the Cargo Crane, enabling smooth loading and unloading, including distribution to the TRAINS Box Car for cross network transport.
Interaction
Interact with the container to open it and manage its inventory. When linked to a freighter, sneak and interact to open or close the container door. The container can be loaded or unloaded using the Cargo Crane, letting you move goods between ships, storage blocks, and compatible train cars. Interact while holding any dye to recolor the unit.
