The fishing net is a light crafting material in the BOATS Add On. It is used to build the fishing boat and serves as the core component that allows the vessel to lower its net, gather fish, and retrieve loot from the water.
Functionality
The fishing net works purely as a crafting ingredient. It does not perform any fishing on its own when placed and has no special behaviour outside crafting. Its purpose is to enable the fishing system of the fishing boat, which uses the net to dip into the water, rise automatically, and deliver fish or treasure to the player.
