Cottages
Cottages are naturally generating structures added by the Gardening Add-On. They provide decorative homes, unique loot opportunities, and access to the Gardener, a new villager profession.
Generation
- Cottages generate randomly in the Forest and Plains biomes.
- There are 4 main cottage variants, each with its own design and layout.
- Alongside each cottage, up to 16 additional buildings can spawn in varying numbers (with a maximum of 5 surrounding a cottage).
Inhabitants
Each Cottage is inhabited by a Gardener.
The Gardener specializes in flowers and plants. Players can interact with the Gardener to view trades for various plants and gardening-related items.
Features
Cottages act as hubs for gardening-related gameplay, offering access to the Gardener and many decorative blocks from the Gardening Add-On. They are often decorated with the following items:
- Flower Pots: Coloured Pots, Tall Pots , Wide Pots, Metal Pots, Hanging Pots and Window Boxes
- Furniture: Garden Benches, Garden Tables and Wooden Picket Fences
- Bird Features: Bird Houses and Bird Baths
- Decorations: Lantern Posts, Water Pumps, Stone Paths and Garden Gnomes
