Submarine Miner

The submarine miner is a specialised underwater drilling vessel in the BOATS Add On. It is built for deep sea excavation, allowing you to mine blocks beneath the ocean surface while staying protected inside a fully enclosed craft. It carries one player and is ideal for gathering resources from the sea floor with precision and safety.

Functionality

The submarine miner is engine powered and must be filled with Marine Fuel before it can move. It can fully submerge and follows normal underwater controls. Looking down makes it dive, looking straight makes it glide, and looking up or using the jump input makes it rise. While inside, the player receives water breathing and improved underwater vision.

The drill is always active when the vessel is moving and has Marine Fuel. Interacting while riding switches the drill between front facing and downward facing modes. The vessel keeps its stored Marine Fuel when picked up.

Interaction

Interact with the submarine miner to board it and use the sneak input to exit. Punch once to begin the shaking state and punch again during the shake to store it while keeping its Marine Fuel. Interact while holding Marine Fuel to refuel, and interact while holding any dye to recolor the vessel. Interact while seated to change the drill direction.

Place reinforced iron blocks in the top left, top middle, and top right. Put a propeller on the left of a steering wheel with glass on the right in the middle row. Then place reinforced iron blocks in the bottom left and bottom middle with an underwater drill in the bottom right. Crafts one submarine miner.
