Fluid Crane

The fluid crane is a stationary liquid handling machine in the BOATS Add On. It is designed for transferring fluids between tankers, fluid tanks, and supported storage blocks. It also works with the Tanker Car from the TRAINS Add On, letting you move liquids smoothly between boats and trains for a connected transport network.

Functionality

The fluid crane rotates left or right and moves liquids to or from the container directly in front of it. Using the forward input loads fluid into the crane, while using the backward input unloads fluid into the target container. It works with entity based fluid tanks, boat tankers, and compatible storage from other Podcrash Add Ons, enabling direct liquid transfers across land and sea systems.

Interaction

Interact with the fluid crane to take control of it and use the sneak input to exit. Hold the left or right input to rotate the crane arm. Use the forward input to draw liquid from the container in front of the crane, and use the backward input to empty liquid into it. The crane can work with the BOATS tanker, the BOATS fluid tank, and the TRAINS Tanker Car for complete fluid distribution across your transport network.

Crafting

Place iron ingots in the top left and top middle with a fluid tank in the top right. Put a chain in the center of the middle row. Then place a reinforced iron block in the bottom left, leaving the bottom middle and bottom right empty. Crafts one fluid crane.
