The steering wheel is a core mechanical component in the BOATS Add On. It appears in many vessel recipes and represents the control mechanism that lets players steer powered and wind driven boats. It is used in craft such as the bowrider, barge, narrowboat, pirate ship, tanker, and more.

Functionality

The steering wheel is used only as a crafting ingredient. Its purpose is to supply the control assembly required for boats and utility structures that depend on player steering input.

Place sticks in the top left, top middle, and top right. Put sticks in the left and right of an iron ingot in the middle row. Then place sticks in the bottom left, bottom middle, and bottom right. Crafts one steering wheel.
