Teleportation Pad
In MACHINES, the Teleportation Pad allows players to instantly travel between two locations with matching calibrations.
Functionality
The Teleportation Pad links to another pad using three calibration types:
- Power, set using the Power Wavelength Calibrator
- Essence, set using the Essence Wavelength Calibrator
- Main, set by interacting directly with the Teleportation Pad
Only pads with identical calibration settings will connect and allow teleportation.
Interaction
Place the Power Wavelength Calibrator and Essence Wavelength Calibrator on either side of the Teleportation Pad. Set the Essence Wavelength Calibrator to your desired colour and adjust the lever on the Power Wavelength Calibrator to your chosen configuration. Then interact with the pad itself to set the main calibration.
Stand on the pad to teleport to another Teleportation Pad with matching settings. If the pad emits a warning beep, the configuration is invalid. This may be because the pad lacks sufficient power or essence, or because there is no other Teleportation Pad with the same configuration.
With 6 essence colours (Red, Yellow, Green, Light Blue, Dark Blue, and Purple) and 6 power configurations, there are 36 unique combinations available. This allows you to create multiple independent teleportation networks across your world or realm without them interfering with one another.
After teleporting, players will temporarily recieve the Slowness and Nausea Effects.
