Spirit Hive

Spirit Hive is a utility block in the FARMING Add On. It is used to spawn spirits that help automate harvesting and replanting around your farm.

Functionality

Spirit Hives spawn spirits whenever there is work to do within a 15 block radius. Spirits can harvest crops, bushes, and fruit from trees before returning the collected items back to the hive.

A Spirit Hive can spawn up to 5 spirits at once. The sides of the hive should be left open so spirits can spawn properly.

If a container with seeds is placed above the Spirit Hive, spirits will use those seeds to replant crops on empty farmland. Harvested items can either be dropped from the hive or automatically deposited into a container placed beneath it.

Trees must be within a 15 block radius of the hive to be harvested. Other plants must be within a 15 block horizontal radius and a 2 block vertical radius.

Crafted using hay bales, blocks of amethyst, and a hopper.
