Embedded Cross Tracks are a street integrated variation of standard cross tracks introduced in the Urban Update. They allow two rail lines to intersect within a single block space and can be placed either straight or diagonally. Every rail material in the Add-On has a matching embedded cross track, making it possible to blend rails seamlessly into roads, tram corridors, plazas, and other urban surfaces.

Functionality

Embedded Cross Tracks function exactly like normal cross tracks , letting trains pass through from two different directions. If two trains enter the intersection at the same time, they will crash. The embedded version replaces wooden ties with concrete, terracotta, or planks, allowing the rails to sit flush with surrounding blocks for realistic road level track.

Interaction

Players place Embedded Cross Tracks just like any other rail, choosing straight or diagonal orientation. Trains follow their path automatically. Because collisions are possible when two lines cross, signalling or careful timing is recommended for networks with heavy traffic.

Obtaining

Crafting

Embedded Cross Tracks follow their own unique recipe. Place ingots, diamonds, or emeralds in the four corner slots. Fill every remaining slot with concrete, terracotta, or wooden planks depending on the embedded style you want. The recipe outputs sixteen Embedded Cross Tracks for whichever embedded variant is crafted.
