Cargo Crane

The cargo crane is a stationary loading machine in the BOATS Add On. It is built for lifting and transferring solid goods between ships, containers, and storage blocks, making it an essential tool for any dock or port. It can also interact with the Box Car from the TRAINS Add On, allowing you to move goods freely between trains and boats for full transport integration.

Functionality

The cargo crane rotates its arm left or right and moves items between the crane and the container directly in front of it. Using the forward input loads items into the crane, and using the backward input unloads them. It works with block containers, entity containers, and supported storage units across Add-Ons, including the TRAINS Box Car, creating seamless cargo distribution between land and sea transport systems.

Interaction

Interact with the cargo crane to take control of it and use the sneak input to exit. Hold the left or right input to rotate the arm. Use the forward input to load from the container in front and the backward input to unload into it. The crane can load and unload the freighter, the barge, containers, chests, and the TRAINS Box Car, letting you transfer goods between boats and trains with ease.

Place iron ingots in the top left and top middle with a container in the top right. Put a chain in the center of the middle row. Then place a reinforced iron block in the bottom left, leaving the bottom middle and bottom right empty. Crafts one cargo crane.
