Basil
Basil is a crop in the FARMING Add-On, released in the Italian Update. It is a herb ingredient used in several Italian recipes and can be grown by players.
Functionality
Basil can be used in the following recipes:
Basil grows through seven stages and reaches the height of one block when fully grown. Once mature, it can be harvested to obtain 1 × Basil and 2 × Basil Seeds.
A single Basil can also be converted into 1 × Basil Seed.
Interaction
Basil can be planted on Farmland or Grass. Basil Seeds can also be obtained by breaking Grass blocks.
Obtaining
Basil naturally generates in Plains, Forests, and Jungle Edge biomes. Once fully grown, harvesting Basil will return 1 × Basil and 2 × Basil Seeds.
