Dhow

The dhow is a traditional sail vessel in the BOATS Add On. It features a classic triangular sail and a light wooden frame, making it perfect for calm coastal travel and scenic exploration. It carries one player and offers a smooth and relaxed sailing style inspired by historic sea craft.

Functionality

The dhow does not use an engine and therefore does not require Marine Fuel. Instead, it moves by wind driven motion that follows normal control inputs. While riding, you can fold or unfold the sail to change its performance. Folding the sail slows the vessel, while opening it restores its full movement.

Interaction

Interact with the dhow to board it and use the sneak input to exit. While seated, interact again to open or close the sail. Punch the vessel once to begin its shaking state and punch again during the shake to store it. Interact while holding any dye to recolor the dhow.

Crafting

Place sail cloth across the entire top row. Put a stick in the center of the middle row. Then place treated planks across the entire bottom row. Crafts one dhow.
