Starling has forward-looking eyes, a sharply hooked beak, and acute hearing and vision. The feathers form a disk framing the face or ear tufts that help locate prey by reflecting sound to the ears.

- As soon as I heard the echoing hoot coming from the Starling, I knew immediately I was in danger.
- When you encounter one of these creatures, keep your eyes open. Most of the time, these creatures peer forward from above ready to attack.
