The Talisman Shard is a crafting material in the Archaeology Add-On. It is the essential resource required to create all Talismans, which grant players passive buffs while carried. Shards are also used to repair damaged Talismans in an Anvil, making them one of the most valuable finds during excavation.
Obtaining
- Found while excavating with a chisel or brush.
- Dropped in loot chests across ruins, temples, or dungeons.
- Cannot be crafted.
Usage
- Combine 8 Talisman Shards with the relevant vanilla item to craft a specific Talisman.
- Used in an Anvil to repair damaged Talismans, restoring their durability.
- Cannot be used directly — they are only functional through crafting and repairing.
