Treated Planks

Treated planks are water resistant wooden boards in the BOATS Add On. They are used throughout many crafting recipes, especially for classic and traditional vessels such as the canoe, gondola, dhow, and longboat. Their strengthened finish gives boats a durable frame suitable for long voyages and constant exposure to water.

Functionality

Treated planks function as a mid tier crafting material. They do not have special behaviour when placed, but their refined coating makes them the primary wooden component in much of the Add On’s nautical construction. Many sailboats and smaller vessels rely on them as the main structural element.

Interaction

Interact with treated planks like any ordinary block. They can be placed, broken, and used decoratively. Their main purpose is as a crafting ingredient for boats, storage units, and several specialised items introduced by the Add On.

Crafting

Place planks in the top left, top middle, and top right. Put honeycomb across the entire middle row. Then place planks in the bottom left, bottom middle, and bottom right. Crafts eight treated planks.
